Hi guys and gals,

I have been lurking for a while and finally got my first A-body driver so I can continue work on my B-body (I'm over on FABO "Saved from the crusher build"). Picked up Tablebeast's 1973 Duster. I will post a Project thread so you can follow, but this baby is as basic as basic can be: Honey Gold, /6, Auto, vinyl interior, vinyl floor, base model. Fender decode confirms all original-ish. Pretty much need to replace the floor (common), Rad and fix the fuel system and I will be driving for the winter (or what is winter in SC).

Happy to be here, I'll be postin!

Welcome to the Madness !!!!

Very cool. What B body do you have? Need a pic :)

Welcome. I was in the USAF for 20 years and was TDY to SC many times. What a beautiful state. You will have a great cruiser. I have always noticed that guys with restored original /6 cars get just as much attention at car shows as the VROOM VROOM V8 cars. My memory of SC leads me to think that an after market AC unit might make the car a bit more fun to drive in May-Sep. That Classic Auto Air exact fit unit works great; I have one in my car. Anyway, WELCOME. And we always say that without pictures it aint real.

I hate to cross-forum, but I have a 69 Roadrunner post car that was on its way to be crushed when I bought it. It was a wreck and still needs a lot of love, but its been a fun rebuild. The day I grabbed it...

I don't have a recent picture, but I have the new front clip on and am preparing to put a new floor in before I brace for the roof replacement.
