Hey all! I’ve searched and searched and I can’t find a good thread/ write up on a good rowdy/ daily 5.9 Magnum cam
I’ve got a ‘69 Dart fresh rebuilt 5.9 Mag in mine. All stock with a thinner head gasket .039 and some mild porting on the heads (de shrouded the valves, cleaned up runners, pencil necked the valves)
It’s a ratty driver street car. I’m looking for low/ mid range power and a noticeable, rough idle. I’ve been looking at the Hughes Steamroller 222int 226exh @.050 .549 .555 lift on 110LSA. The main reason I’ve been looking at it is because The Gas Tap on YouTube runs it in “Big Red” and it works very will for him on pretty much the same build with video evidence of it performing well.
I would love to hear some personal experiences with some cams, and I’m definitely open to regrinds! Thanks all!
