Reverse pedal box

Wondering if anyone has done a reverse pedal box install on their a body
I picked up a wilwood reverse pedal box at a swap meet and am looking at ways to mount it
Keen to see anybody else’s install

Reverse?

Clutch and brake are reversed?

That would be a trip.
 
I just looked at it on Wilwood's website. It looks to be a custom mounted race car system.
 
One issue that you will have is filling the master cylinders since they will be under the dash. I used a system like that on a race car but we had a sheet metal dash and it had a removable access panel so that wasn’t a problem for us. I actually did it using mostly stock parts including the master cylinder.
 
I used the floor mounted Wilwood one in the past. The one you picture is a top mounted, like the factory.

YOu can use remote resevoirs
 
the reservoirs and plumbing are no issue - what i'm wondering about is any one that has done it how much they modified the existing steering pedal bracket to accommodate the pedals it's the actual mount assemblies i want to have a look at
I know there are a couple of cars around with complete shaved firewalls
 
so you want a completly smooth firewall with just the steering column coming through? go with an ididit or similar. remove all the factory under dash peddel bracket stuff and use a column drop like in a hot rod. You'll stil want to do somefab work to stengthen the column drop mounting
 
The proper way to use a reverse pedal bracket in my opinion is to install it in a vehicle with a roll cage and use the structure of the dash bar and cage to support the pedals. Sheet metal is likely not strong enough to take that abuse. If you don’t have a dash bar and a cage buy the correct pedal assembly.
 
I used the wilwood firewall mount pedal assembly in my falcon and originally had it bolted straight to the firewall. Lots of flexing and probably cracking would have been the result. I ended up cutting out the firewall and installing their (wilwood’s) bracket that’s much more beefy and it’s rock solid now.
