Fine looking young man and good he has interest in the hobby. Just don’t let him drift to the dark side (chivvy and furd ). Got to admit I would have jumped at the bull dozer deal.
 
Bull dozers, train locomotives and nitromethane. Those are big fantasies for me. LOL.
 
It went really well. Had to take a carb off an old CJ 5 since my old AVS leaked at throttle plates.
He shocked the hell out of me when checking number 1. After 20 years of diesel I forgot what was proper voltage on both sides of coil before we fired it. He thought me flipping like a fish was funny. Ha.

Really really cool stuff. Although I "learned" a lot from my Dad, he never taught me a damn thing. He was pretty good at yelling when I screwed up tho. This did not make me a "better man"

He thought you flippin like a fish was funny, because it was funny. LOL Yall are makin some great memories, man. This is super cool stuff. Cherish your relationship. I can tell you from first hand experience all father and son relationships aren't the same.
