Stop in for a cup of coffee

I'm almost embarrassed to say, they are a company called treadwright. Their claim is they are a tire recycler, out of Texas that makes remold, opposed to retread tires. I admit the tires are 4 years old, but I looked up my records and only have 11k miles on them. I Should have been more cautious, but I had bought a set in the past locally for a little dakota I had at the time, and they were ok. All in all I was out 40 bucks to mount a spare tire I had on that rim. Just sucks I was 2 hours from home when It happened. Luckily insurance covered the tow. So anyways, lesson learned. Looking at mickey Thompsons currently. As they are a 50k mile tire with a similar tread.

These guys run some good sales from time to time....

BFG All Terrain K/Os . Best pickup tire around. I ran them on my Cummins dodge and got nearly 90k miles out of them. Rotated regularly of course. Great traction on and off road, in snow and ice. Get the Load Range E and they’ll last.

Buddy Ted and I are off to Prairie du Chein, Wisc. today for a Starlight bourbon barrel pick release at Stark's. The owner of Starlight will be there and they are giving away a bottle from his personal collection. It should be a hoot!

Sounds like a excellent adventure with Ted! Have fun, be safe, and be sure and kick Ted in the shins for me! Hah. Tell him hello. Keep us posted.

And puncture resistance : )

Gotta work later, but shouldn’t be too bad. Last night was a workout. Hung a row of 8ft LED fixtures, plus a bunch of other stuff. Pretty beat up. Might have a cord of firewood coming this morning. Said if not raining… Calling for that after noon. Probably go finish mowing. Was going to put my new storm door on, but that is going to have to wait.

edit: firewood showed up before I hit send…

Ouch! We left Stark's with a trunk load. (A $650 total between the two of us) Ted says thanks for the kick. LOL We stopped in Dyersville at a craft brewery for a new release. A pumpkin spice, coffee Ale. A strange combination but quite tasty. There's a wedding party here and a lot of scenery to enjoy.

For sure. Will probably split some smaller too. The stove can fit big pieces, but the Mrs loads the stove more than I do since I’m at work in the evening

For some dumb reason, I bought one of these.. works great but I live in a place with no trees.. I ain't the brightest bulb... I think I'll get a snowblower next...

I could use it too lol! Same for me, maul, wedges, axe.
Shouldn’t be bad for a few re-splits. But its hell on your shoulders, back, etc splitting loads of wood that way. Especially using wedges trying to get started into a 2 ft+ diameter log. :BangHead:
