Dude, that's just a bowl slam fulla badassary. I love it! Glad you finally figured out how to pronounce it's name, too. LOL
 
Using five different conversion methods, i got numbers from 12.93 to 13.19 (the latter predicted 102.25mph). Most were low 13.0x. Personal opinion..... the 13.19 method seems to be most accurate for MY stuff. My best guess for your truck....13.10-13.14, at 100..5. LOTS of air drag on a pickup.
An aside.... did you run with the tailgate up or down?

tailgate was up. I do 100% agree, the truck will grab more wind resistance on the big end compared to a car.
 
If you need some extra cash and want to lose some weight the blue dash surround, bezel, and glovebox lid should bring around $250. It still amazes me how much the lowly junkyard magnum is good for.
 
Looks like you're about like me with weight reduction and those french fries though... :rolleyes:

I ran my ranchero at the track with the tailgate down. Counterintuitivly, i have been told there is less drag with the tailgate up (tho i do understand the theory)
It would be fun to do an a-b 1/4mile test with a consistent truck. Mph would be the telling stat.

IF I ever get it to a true Test n Tune, I'd like to do back to back runs with it up and down. Also, I have shift point and timing to mess with.... but it seems I'm lucky to get my one clean pass... LOL
 
We have a 1/8 mile tnt here in socal on thursday night. Gates open at four, racing 5 to 10. From about 7pm it gets busy, packed later, but if your there when the gate opens, ready to go at 5, fifteen or twenty laps is possible for a hot-lappable street car.

I actually think it's just the same up or down, I know air goes in the bed and swirls down to the bed and turns back to the cab then rolls back over creating a boundary layer, with the bed down. Same happens bed up, maybe a second swirl causes an extension to the boundary layer. When I raced my Dakota there wasn't any difference except less weight.

Just a consistent stock 95 5.2 magnum sb-rc, had over 100 passes on it. It ran 14.60's & pissed off alot of faster cars. Matter of fact a guy 1 day asked if I'd just let him win, his Indy pace truck with Paxton sc blew the tires off at the start, I told him after that I tried to let you win lol
 
This is my time slip from yesterday as a point of reference at Firebird in Idaho.

1973 D100 long bed with a 408. Indy LAX heads. Sniper EFI.

4.10 gears. 727.

I wish I could go 1.8 sixty foots! Just can't get enough traction.
