I am finding out that the 67,68 and 69 glass are made for those years only. Is that true?
Also, isn't the Dart the same as the Barracuda when it comes to door glass?

Glass MAY interchange BUT make sure the guts all match the year of the glass. Glass is year and body specific. Dart door glass will not interchange.

I think Dart and B'cuda convertible door glass interchange. No others are the same at roof line.

Your local glass shop should be able to cut a new glass if your old glass is some what intact. If not, Sanders Repo Glass in Vancouver, WA can cut any glass needed. I have used them for door glass for a Corvair convertible. They have original patterns.

Here is their web site Home

I have both door glass but they are scratched up. Is it possible to have these windows fixed, scratches removed by buffing?

I just went through tis with my'67 fb Barracuda. The side glass is tempered and harder than the windshield glass making it more difficult to polish. Know from spending hours on my side glass that found a new home at the landfill. It's worth the money to buy new, if it's available. I bought mine from Classic Industries. They currently do not show any for notchbacks. I would try Metro.
Classic Auto Glass - Windshield Glass, Back Glass, Door Glass, Vent Window Glass and Quarter Window Glass - Plymouth Barracuda, 1964, 1965,1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69 - Catalog Product List Page

The big problem is there appears to be only one manufacture currently producing glass for our cars and they have stopped production of some products (green tinted rear window Fb) and are not going to start again in the near future. I have called and spoken to Sanders Repo Glass, Metro and Auto City Classic when I was searching for new rear window glass for my Fb. I ended up buying used from Wildcat auto wreckers in Oregon, it may be worth the drive from Utah. Luckily, they had about twenty of the, I cleaned fifteen windows before I found one that was "almost" scratch free. Hope this helps.

That would work if the door glass was flat. I contacted a couple of glass shops I had cut custom glass for my VW Thing, and the issue was the radius or curvature of the glass. So I waited for 8 months for Classic Industries to fill my order. That does not mean that is not possible.

It's all about how deep the scratches are. I learned the hard way that polishing deep scratches and pits from a old windshield is a waste of time and money. Side glasses never got the level of sand blasting pits and wiper scratches the a windshield gets. They don't have wipers, so some degree of wavy/under water look can be acceptable.
Just so you know... there is a cerium oxide compound that wife and I use to clean and polish our ceramic range top. So if you have the right diameter and RPM buffer, your time to invest you might save your OEM side glass.

Yes on your first question.....No on your second unless they're both convertibles. Yours are coupe only door glass.

The only difference between the side glass from 67-69 Barracuda’s is in the stop that is used to limit how far up the window winds up. In 69 there is a hole in the bottom of the glass that controls this. There is a plastic knob that attaches into that hole and contacts and adjuster that’s in the door itself. Earlier models did not have this hole. They used an adjustable bracket attached to the door that limited the window mechanism from going up too far. I changed the glass in my 69 Notchback years ago to the earlier style but I had to use the earlier bracket arrangement so I know that you can use earlier glass in a later model but I’m not sure if it’s as easy to go the other way. Perhaps a member can post pictures of a 69 door with the door panel removed and I can mark it up to show you what I mean.

Yer right! I forgot about the window guide being different and the plastic knob. Heres pics of 69 drivers side.

Heres a couple pics. Keep in mind the blue door is a 67 shell with all 69 pieces.
Here is a link to more info when I swapped the doors. In the 2nd pic I'm pointing to an upstop that hits the regulator arm.

If you post a picture of the area around the window regulator I can point out where the earlier bracket mounts.
