Chevy Has a New 10-Liter Crate Motor That Makes 1004 HP the war escalates :):)

Looks impressive. With whom does the "war" escalate? Sure isn't Mopar. Mopar would have to participate first. LOL!:)

That’s OK. It’s all part of the game.
Take a look at the specs between the engines.

I thought GM was all about the going green movement. Must be talking money, not the environment

Check out offshore racing boat motors. Huge NA gas guzzlers. But when you have dual 100 gallon tanks, who's counting?

I’m not impressed. I do think it very cool though.
At the massive CID, what I’m sure is excellent flowing cylinder heads and probably a roller cam of a respectable set of specs, at 1.588 HP per Cubic Inch, it’s not setting the world on fire. 1.38 on torque doesn’t wow me.

Im not disrespecting them FWIW.
If the price is right… great. We will see how the corporate greed factors in.

Just a comparison, 318 - 632. Yes that's a 318 mounted on a Pontiac con rod.

Hey, why the pontiac rod? Is that a trick I have never heard of?
This is for use in a 350 Pontiac. Pontiac piston comp dist. 1.700, Mopar comp dist 1.720-1.745, at 1.745 it is a zero deck, piston weight = identical, pin size, hone rod .0037+ add full float. counterweight clearance= good. bore size, 3.875 +.035= standard 318= fixes a rusty 350.

Did not know that! Very cool
