I guess this question is for the forum administrator: Is this forum For A Bodies Only Restorations?

Just wondering since I didn't see it specified in the sticky.
I'm sure it was created for a bodies only but any Mopar would-be welcome I would think. Now if you are restoring a table or the like may be not. Lol

While we may favor "A" bodies, most of us own/have owned and worked on many cars/Mopars. There is a wealth of mechanical experience here by guys that are willing to share it (inter-laced with a dubious sense of humor). It won't hurt to just ask a question.

Richard,

I had the Ford version of your van back in the day, complete with all the windows.

You really need a couple of long boards to put on top!

Nothing screams Ventura like a 60s van with surf boards!

It looks awsom by the way!

I think that's true of the whole site in general, but I believe he might be inquiring about the Members Restorations Forum specifically within the site.

BTW, Richard, how awesome it would be if your name was Richard VanSweet, cause that is one sweet lookin van.
Unrelated but now thinking about names, I can only imagine what you may have used for a pick up line. Last name first please.

Your question implies that this forum is for "Restorations". I think it is fair to say that by far, most of the threads on this forum have to do with general maintenance, upgrades (adding disk brakes or fuel injection), body and paint (not necessarily restoration), etc. This depends, of course, on your definition of the word 'restoration'. Some people consider a restoration to be bringing a car back to be EXACTLY kike it was when it left the factory, and some think it just means fixing the car up to look pretty much stock and lookin nice.
Also, rumor has it that some FABO members even own Fords and Chevys.

I think you hit the nail on the head...

I would say if Richard has a restoration of a non A body and posts the process or photos in the "members restoration" section. No one is going to be upset.

I would say that anything Mopar related in the “Members Restorations” would be a welcome subject. I’m rebuilding my plow truck right now, a 1990 Ram, not that I’m going to start a thread, but if someone else had a truck resto going, I would be all eyes, and ears!
