keep in mind those cars were 10 year old used gas guzzlers' during the second oil embargo in the late 70s...and I've said it before no one wanted these cars after they were used scrap iron...I remember my mom was car shopping in 1977, she had a choice of a 71 Charger with a 440, or a 66 chevlle with a 283 ...she picked the Chevy I said "Mom, get the charger..."LOL!
