That I don't know, but I'll see if I can find out. Seems like it should, on the off chance it don't I'll be back as soon as I find out.

"Wilson - Home"

Everything from /6 to 360, and then 400, 440. Thats kinda crazy, but thats the link to what fits what for it-I am not sure the difference for stock heads. 383 has distributor in same place as 440, pretty much everything feels like it should. Do you have the old one your replacing handy? I can pull it from the box and put a tape measure with it, the places it hooks into the head and the support bracket measurements. It's the same one I had on my 68 Charger, and a friend had that same one on his 66 Power Wagon. I'm gonna get ahold of the parts guy for a little direction-I do not want to sell something someone can't use.
Be back

What would be total with shipping to 85361? Thanks
They're quoting FedEx $40 and change for shipping-I don't think that's gonna be right, but ship today and delivered saturday, I'm going to talk to a human and see if this is right. And I guess thats right because USPS is $42.21 ground to your address.

Just had to spring for a starter so I don't think I can snag this today but as a sidenote, you can likely drop that in a USPS priority medium or large flat rate box with some padding, for $17-$22.

that is a 100A alternator. Bracketry is different from the standard type Mopar alternator because of its physically bigger size. They started putting those on as std equip around '77-ish on anything with the rear window defogger grid. if you can find the bracketry it's a good upgrade. BUT they shunted the ammeter on cars that came with one of these.
years ago I didnt know "that" and put one on my 79 Ramcharger. I had saved the one from my 76 Charger SE, and transplanted it to the Ramcharger. The 1st time I went to jump a friend's car and alt output went "full tilt" I had a smoke show in the dash,,, yup, my ammeter. I bypassed the ammeter and all was good again.

Direct fit on a 383 with stock iron heads?
with the right brackets, yup. look for a BB Cordoba or a 76-up C body with a BB and snag the brackets, bolt them on your 383 and go.
I'd rather have an original American one though than a "made in China" version (look at label in pic)

Hey sorry I didn't get back to you guys sooner-had to hit the eject button and haul azz take the wife to Portland to the hospital, kidney tube thing came out, and the woulda, shoulda, coulda of it all is go to that hospital , almost as scary as smoking the ammeter, thats scary. I'm not a fireman, for the wife, she was in luck, I do carry a nursing license, fire...I had a 55, 56, 57,Belvedere title was sketchy and it was 1974, had a 6 volt system and a funny looking motor, some idiot put the spark plugs under the valve cover, who would do that stuff? Anyway the said the rod was knocking, $25 and off I went. Fixed the rod knocking by bending the exhaust away from the frame piece, amazing, it had 920 miles on it too. 331 early hemi and I gave it to my neighbor for the motor he wanted it for his custom 27 bucket t. Oh, a six volt system, that was so wrong. And I changed the headlights and signals and battery when I got that 12 volt generator, rebuilt it myself. Jump in the car with that new 12 volt smell....mmmmm....and wow, who figured? Dash caught fire. Toasted a brand new Kraco 8 track player too...the smell of 12 volt...ammeter was where it popped first and the tube radio kinda did some weird things. And a drag racer from California got his hemi that day
I glanced through real quick-it's not going anywhere so no worries, and that was what I was looking at, I have smaller boxes and know which one I'll use-my personal FedEx guy said the same, flat rate would be best. Weighs like 22 pounds or so, I think I had one like it on a Duster 440-can't remember if it was a butcher job or came factory-I ended up owning 4 at the same time.
They do put out. If you ever get a chance to see a 1965 Chrysler Imperial 2 door, the 440 had enough room to rig one in until yours came in-friend did it, another fire waiting to happen.
I'll be around
