What I DON’T like about them is with the compressor on the driver's side, the hoses have to run around the front of the engine to the passenger side where they go to the firewall.

If it wasn't for that, I'd have bought them.

I'll be running EFI so I won't have the fuel pump to worry about.
I'm hoping I can fit the compressor below the alternator.

I have an AC compressor mounted on the driver side, what I did was, have a high and low pressure metal hose made in a Z shape so I could route the high and low pressure hose from the passenger side fire wall through the passenger side wheel well. I then mounted the rubber high and low hoses up high in the wheel well under the front core support, there I mounted the dryer, then back under the core support on the driver side and up to the AC compressor. The only AC hoses that are really visible are the hose sections that come up close to the steering box and connect to the AC compressor. The added length add some R134a to the total but has no impact on the efficiency of the system.
