I'm wondering if anyone has ever put an air grabber on a dart.

I've been considering the possibility of putting an air grabber rig on a 1970 dart.

Has it ever been attempted?

Thanks

I'm sure it's been done. I've never seen one, but it'd be really cool done right.

Always been a fantasy of mine, but the price of those things is out of my realm.

I got everything to put a 69 Roadrunner set-up in a 69 Dart GTS and even had the hood cut-out for the inlets, but someone else wanted it so I sold it. I never did find out if he finished the project...

I know we had a member here who put a shaker scoop on a 65 Valiant. It was a really clean job, too.

What style air grabber? I have a 71 setup sitting here that I would love to put on an A body.

Not mine. I pulled that pick from an older thread. I was just showing you guys what I'd found.

This yours? How about details?

My brother built that car back in the 80’s and put the AirGrabber on it. Absolute, no holds barred, hands down best hood on a Duster. In my opinion.

Car has gone through many hands since my brother sold it, and changed a bunch. But the hood has always stayed the same. Last I heard, it was at Spring Fling several years ago.

But that’s a Duster, not a Dart. No idea what it would look like on a Dart, never seen one.
