Pistons were used for ~ 500 street miles. They have been fully cleaned and the skirts lightly glass beaded. Two pistons had some minor modifications to ensure adequate piston to valve clearance. See two photos. One piston had some skirt scuffing and has been replaced with a new piston.
Piston specs are as follows:
Bore 4.030 in.
Stroke: 4.000 in.
Rod Length: 6.123 in.
Piston Style: Step head, with two valve reliefs
Piston Material: Forged aluminum
Compression Height (in.): 1.465 in.
Piston Head Volume (cc): +20.50cc
Wrist Pin Style: Press-fit or floating
Pin Diameter (in.): 0.984 in.
Piston Ring Thickness: 1/16 in. x 1/16 in. x 3/16 in.
Compression ratio with a 65CC chamber, head gasket compressed thickness of 0.040 and installed at 0.0 deck height will be ~ 9.90 to one.
