Increases in COVID-19 are unrelated to levels of vaccination across 68 countries & 2947 cnties in US

My opinion is that is it unwise to assume you are getting all of the news from most of the mainstream media. I consistently see a trend where certain stories are told, but only the ones that further a certain narrative. Are they directly lying to us? Probably not. But that doesn't mean they aren't highlighting stories to shape public opinion and ignoring others that might change opinion.

One small example of this is Israel. Not one word (that I have heard) about the conditions there after it received glowing praise for how fast they were immunizing their population. Nothing about how cases haven't still spiked. And yes I looked it up, not reading from a script on FB. Feels like a story to be ignored because it might reduce the pressure people might feel to get immunized.

Another one is the continual line that hospitals are full because of covid patients. At least that is the story locally. What they leave out is that due to several issues (one being a mandated vaccine), they are all understaffed and can't fill the beds they have. Add that car accident, cancer, heart attacks, etc. haven't stopped just because of covid. So, are the beds full? I think so, but limited by staffing not space. Is every patient a covid patient? I know they aren't. And this isn't from some news source, this is from people I know personally that work at the places.

Sorry, but I don't trust the local news. Nor do I trust our "elected" officials.
