I retired from the PD 14 years ago. The war on whatever was still going strong and the National Guard put me to work for about five years before I hit their mandatory retirement. I took my SS at 62 because I hadn't put much into it. Retirement is what you make it and I've really enjoyed mine so far. As soon as we get this house done and settled in I can return to a "normal retiree life" haha!!
