I don't see why rear end narrowing would effect tailpipe clearance.

Most tail pipes I've seen go over the axle. After narrowing tue perches the space between the axles and tank are extremely tight. Most go out the side before the tire . I don't want to and if someone has pulled this off I'd like to see it.
