I'm assuming Dynamic and Ultimate are still the "go to" guys at this point in time? Anyone have any issues with either?

Well Dynamic was started by Frank Lupo, then I guess he sold it, then there was two Dynamic Converters. Since way back I started referring to Frank Lupo Converters. So there was no confusion.

I think that's right. If you look at the site I posted it says "Frank Lupo's Dynamic Converters" I believe that's because that's not the only Dynamic. He also moved from Connecticut to Delaware, so that could have something to do with it too. I know he's always made some of the best converters around.

This was on my converter box I just received Friday

Can I extend this question to include 727 lockup converters? Seems I can't find a damn one that isn't just a rebuilt OEM stocker.
Mind you I don't need anything crazy for my current project. But would like a little better than the original stock one I have now. A little higher stall for a pickup with a /6 that has been upgraded with what I would call an RV cam, (Oregon 819) a super 6 stack, ported and shaved head with actual measured CR in the high 8s that will be a daily driver OCCASIONALLY pulling a small pop up or utility trailer, with a few mowers on it, around.
This is 85 D150 long bed, has 8-1/4 rear with 3.21 which I hope to keep.
Already have the trans, wanting to run what I have. It's the original trans in the truck. Alot of people say to downgrade to a 904 which I see no point in. That would also mean further expense like a longer driveshaft to start with.
I have a couple of bad teeth on my ring gear which is why I'm looking for a converter, but as long as I have to replace, I'm looking for something a little better than what I'm gonna be taking out.
