I Need Advice, There’s A Cream (Dream) Puff For Sale

Take your fingers and feel that vinyl top real good looking for any "nubs" that rust can form. You might feel them if there. If there, you will sooner or later have serious issues. IF it has been in a dry situation all these years maybe all is good under that top.
Any real good survivor is worth more than a good restored car. Ask what yourself what a good restored one sells for. And remember it is a slant car. And it matters not what it cost to restore anything when you got to sell for example.
BUT if you want said model, and generally all you find is a builder needing all or a restored one, what is the $ we are considering?
$1500-2500 for a turd, plus how many $$$ to build it OR a well done restored on that costs what? Forget what the seller say he spent on it too. Matter in high end cars, mean little on the lower end models. IMHO
I always ask the sellers price, then go from there. If serious bring cash. Then they know you are serious and not another wanna be tire kicker.
