I asked him to sign it, just because.

Probably a better friend than I am worthy, and an icon in the Mopar performance world for those that know. Like Elmer said, "Hell I was there."

How's Pat doin? I had read something about some health issues.....or maybe someone in his family?

That's badass, btw.

I was up at his place yesterday and think Pat is doing well for someone of his vintage. He's a somewhat older than me, but likely more fit physically. The back of his card says "retired" and he is mostly selling TF related NOS and good used parts that he has numerous quantity.

He mentioned that he has over 300 TF core cases, many that are muscle car originals that included 340, BB, and Hemi applications. Back in the day, sometimes people were impatient and just exchanged trans in order to get their car back on the road. So I would imagine there are a few rare cars out there that originated in the northwest, Washington State area, that he could possibly have their original trans case, but I don't think he has a list of them.

Funny thing about my relationship with Pat; I never seriously raced a TF equipped car as I ran slick-shifted and then Liberty modified 4spds in my race car. and just had him do a few street TFs for me. But there are plenty of people in the west that ran his TFs, and a lot more prolific and more successful racers than me, such Al Young. By the way, I understand Al will be in Vegas the first week of November, representing at a booth at the SEMA show.

Pat picked up the TF 727 from my 1970 Swinger 340 about 10 years ago. He rebuilt it with upgrades, and rebuilt the torque converter, too. I'm finally putting the car together, and have been trying to locate him for technical information on the converter. I heard he moved out to Monroe somewhere. I remember his Mother's Mod Top Barracuda. He picked up my clean 727 in his PT Cruiser. I live in Lynnwood, not far from him. If you could PM me with his contact information, I'd be eternally grateful. He's a living legend in western Washington. Nobody built a better TorqueFlite. Paul.

PM sent. Pat rebuilt the A727 and TC for my 1970 Swinger 340 about 10 years ago. He moved since then, but I was hoping for some info about the TC he rebuilt for me. He's a legend in these parts. Paul.
