Visited an old friend, and he had something for me

I was up at his place yesterday and think Pat is doing well for someone of his vintage. He's a somewhat older than me, but likely more fit physically. The back of his card says "retired" and he is mostly selling TF related NOS and good used parts that he has numerous quantity.

He mentioned that he has over 300 TF core cases, many that are muscle car originals that included 340, BB, and Hemi applications. Back in the day, sometimes people were impatient and just exchanged trans in order to get their car back on the road. So I would imagine there are a few rare cars out there that originated in the northwest, Washington State area, that he could possibly have their original trans case, but I don't think he has a list of them.

Funny thing about my relationship with Pat; I never seriously raced a TF equipped car as I ran slick-shifted and then Liberty modified 4spds in my race car. and just had him do a few street TFs for me. But there are plenty of people in the west that ran his TFs, and a lot more prolific and more successful racers than me, such Al Young. By the way, I understand Al will be in Vegas the first week of November, representing at a booth at the SEMA show.
PM sent. Pat rebuilt the A727 and TC for my 1970 Swinger 340 about 10 years ago. He moved since then, but I was hoping for some info about the TC he rebuilt for me. He's a legend in these parts. Paul.
