Looks like my son may have hit a deer this morning on the way to work. He sent my a picture but all he said was "Exciting morning".

My wife's cousin just told me he hit a deer with his truck 4 days after he picked it up at the dealer. It spun the deer around and hit the passenger door and pushed it back into the seat. Caused 9G damage.
He walked back expecting to find a dead deer but it started coming too and he fought with it and then it took off into the woods. Probably died of internal damage later but a tough SOB
 
Just as the weather geeks said 11:00 and the rain was done :thumbsup:. Little over an inch since 06:00 at the weather station about 2 miles away. The creek across the street isn't raging, so it must not have gotten too wet up in the old oil patch. As of this 5 minutes the freeway through the recent brush fire is still open, but it looks like it's still raining there by the radar.

Well on this side of the mountains that separate desert from inhabitable land we have just enough extra moisture to have Scrub Oak and Manzanita instead of Yucca Trees, Cactus, and Creosote :lol:

We got enough moisture to keep all the birds happy so they can **** all over everything. Bugs like it here a lot and this time of year are doing there best to get in the house. we have telephone poles for trees and don't think there made from Palm trees but defiantly creosote. lol
 
Well it has rained around 100mm in the last two days that’s 3.93 inches and it’s supposed to rain till Thursday :thumbsup:
 
On the island there’s a place called Henderson lake it has the highest rain fall in North America.1997 set a record 366.4 inches for the year .
