I have a Black and Decker leaf blower/vac. It has to be a least 15 -18 years old. The vac housing has worn thru in spots several times over the years. Each time I have patched it and got a couple more years out of it. Last week a new hole appeared. Too many bad spots too many places. I figured I would have to buy a new one. WRONG! I found a B&D parts website. It lists all the for my model and are in stock. I ordered it on Friday. Got confirmation and tracking # yesterday. Package is in Salt Lake City today and headed for Denver. Surprised to say the least.

Good for you

I got a black and decker cordless drill 2 years old and obsolete
No parts, no service, nothing

Sometimes it's cheaper to buy new then buy replacement parts. Especially older cordless units with NiCad power packs that just don't last.

I bet that B&D cordless drill was a rebadge. probably google cordless drills images and you can find the same drill under a different name.

not worried about it, my boy bought me a Bosch for my birthday instead

Try buying Snap-on cordless stuff, as soon as the batteries give out, they've re-designed the product & obsoleted the parts including the batteries...NA.....had both Nicad & Li for the 1/2" impact model I have, can't buy either, had Pop rebuild the batts w/NMH's, increased the pack's rating from 2.5ah to 3ah & no more "memory"......

They did the same with the small 1/4" bit drivers...
As far as B&D goes, 2yr warr. on the Dustbuster Adv + , took a dump 5mos. in, 1 phone call & they sent new one, didn't even want the old one back....

I was quite pleased last year to be able to find a new impeller for my Toro blower/vac. This thing is a leaf munching machine and I'm sure that my folks bought it in the late 80's or early 90's. They must have sold enough of them to make it worth someone's while to mold them.
