Just a little behind the scenes engine block repairing from our friends at forpakistanienginesonly.com.

If you are the guy who is squeamish about a pit on your chrome bumpers, a spec of oil leaking from your Darts rear main seal or have had you garage floor epoxied three times trying to color match it to your Harbor Freight tool cart please look away... for your good health.

For the rest of us bumbling idiots that haven't owned a bottle of car wax in 40 years and have a garage that looks like Scotty Kilmers one car in Houston, enjoy the show.

And now... for tonight's feature presentation... Habib's Precision Engine's.

I always wondered where all those machine tools went that I built shipping crates for in the 1980's.

You can't knock their determination to keep things running. We did much the same 80 years ago in this country.

I had a 1939 Ford 9N tractor that had the block bored to accept Ford passenger car pistons and had home made head gaskets made of oiled sheet felt. Could not get repair parts during WWII so you made stuff. We may be back to doing some things like that again...

Like the old Red Green skit... he changed his oil. Took the oil from his van and put it in his car...took the oil from his car and put it in his lawnmower, etc.

I've seen some of this before, interesting to say the least

On a side note, I cannot ffffffff'en stand Scotty Kilmer. Who in hell is he and how did he get to thinkin he's famous?

My grandpa told stories he did during the depression to keep a car running.
I have a set of wrenches that were Model A specific that he used. If those wrenches could talk!

That was pretty impressive. I don't know what that three cylinder was but I'm guessing by the amount of tooling and fixtures they had, it's the Pakistani equivalent of a SBC. Just think what those guys could do in a US shop with good equipment.

I once made a head gasket for a 2 stroke motorcycle out of a pizza box. I was at work on 2nd shift got off at midnight almost made it home only had to push the bike about a mile home when it quit again. Total distance on the pizza box head gasket was about 25 miles.

My Late Father in Law did this all the time. He even used the old oil to put in the Hydralic system of his old tractor at his Mountain Cabin rather than putting new seals in.

He used to be featured on CBS news... Youtube made him a millionaire. I do like some of his videos but Id slice my wrists if he lived next door.
