Are steel brackets for ‘75/‘76 Dusters that replace the impact absorbers available? If so could you post pictures or a link to them.

I just had a pal in NC pull me a set of fronts, with the inner core, to replace the shock types on the front of mine. But I'm not sure the " shock" types weight savings are worth ... any idea what they weigh?.
