Kansas City cruise

Went to a recent cruise, open house for a new facility here that provides storage for high dollar classics and super cars. When I pulled up to the entrance the lot was filled with exotic cars, not one classic. I was ready to leave thinking nobody would want to look at an old mopar, boy was I wrong. A guy motioned for me to follow him through the crowd, and had me park inside. What a beautiful facility with a lounge area, full kitchen, pool table, the works. I couldn't believe the people that were constantly gathered around my barracuda, walking past cars that I would never be able to own unless I sold everything I own including our home. It was so cool.

Where was this at? I am in Kc also.

I find that alot of people look fondly on our A bodies because more people have history with them or a connection to them. My buddy had one, my grandmother had one, I had one myself.
I was at a Cars & Coffee event this summer that is held in a lot that can be easily seen from a major highway. A guy pulled in off the highway, drove his pickup right into the show, got out and came straight to me at my car. He had tons of questions, comments and admiration for my car while completely ignoring the beautiful Hemi Cuda parked beside me. After we were done talking, he hopped in his truck and continued on his trip. It was a very interesting thing!

I always thought that would be a great business "If" you had the capital for the building/property.
Floyd Garrett Muscle Car Museum is something like that. I visited and was told that only 6 of about 80 cars were theirs. The rest were storage. "For a monthly price we keep them clean,batteries charged,tires aired stuff like that.
Also when they want to take them out just call and we can have them ready at the door in about a hour."
They also did full service on the cars as customers wanted.

It is in riverside, Mo. Just north of quick trip on gateway.
