called hughes a couple of weeks ago...nope...but a call never hurts

The MS1266H bearing are narrowed for a crank with a large fillet .....the standard main bearing by speed pro...king or even clevite do not work...the standard bearing work with a standard crank...

H-Series bearings have enlarged chamfers at the sides for greater crank-fillet clearance and are made without flash plating for better seating. They are also available with either 180 degree or 360 degree oil grooves, as well as an extra 0.001 in. of clearance.

My machinist only wants to use the H series in Clevite or also that version in a King if they even offer anything. He told me yesterday that the H series may not even be available anymore and possibly all you can get is the HG series but he is still researching things

Do you need a narrowed bearing for a forged crank with larger fillet?

Just talked to Scat, asked about main bearing since the ms-1266H is not available, they said the Speed Pro aka Federal Mogule 120M works. He sells them in the their kits especially now that the Cleivite is not available.

Thanks for the info, my machinist ended up sourcing some King bearings in his configuration that he wanted and so i'm all set now.
