Fastest for a slant six would be unbolt it from the transmission. Disconnect the headers and any fuel and coolant lines. Take the bolts out of the motor mounts and pull it. Getting it out shouldn’t take you more than a couple hours at most.
Would like to pull the motor and trans out at the same time. Floor is rusted and I can get to the trans mount easily. beleive 4 bolts and should come off
