It never ceases to amaze me how many guys in this Forum have GSDs. While we love all dogs, there is simply no way we can ever have any other breed. The intelligence, loyalty and bond is unbelievable. Not to mention the territorial protection aspect that is inherent to the breed. The shedding…… well let’s just say it is intense! Hemi is getting a bit long in the tooth and quite gray around the muzzle. When she passes we are going to get a pair of litter mates, male and female. My wife is determined to have one of them bond to her. Thus far she is 0 and several! She thinks if we get two instead of one she has better odds! A good dog just melts your heart I don’t care what breed they are. It seems whatever one we have at the time is the best dog we have ever had! I always trust the instincts of our dogs, they don’t like you, well you are not going to be long in the shop.
