The two don't seem compatable.

What will they do to protect the track?

You got me. I know when the monster truck and mud drags came to pittsburgh they put wood over the ice. The Baders know how to put on a show so I’m sure they have everything figured out.

For “dirt” shows monster trucks, rodeo, MotoX in stadiums, they put down 1 inch ply wood on the grass to the edge of the bleachers and start bringing in the dirt, truck by truck so the dirt is about 18-24” deep depending on the building. For arenas, most of the time, the ice is melted a few days prior, and then they’ll pour dirt on to the concrete floor. When dirt shows are not in the schedule in arenas with basketball and hockey, the ice is always down, they then have an insulated floor covering placed on the ice that is black so it looks like the floor, then the B.B. court is placed on top of that. If concerts are scheduled, the court comes up and the concert stage is build on the ice covering. It takes about 3 full days to lay the ice down, so when there’s a packed schedule, time does not allow for the ice to come up.

When they covered Bristol in dirt last spring, they packed the dirt up to 10 feet deep on the apron and think it was about 5 feet deep on the track up to the walls.. so it will be interesting

I don't know about that.
Is the track concrete or tar?????
What i do know is a 10 wheel dump truck weigh A LOT! they will be driving on that track as well as dumping many many load of dirt.
That is a lot of pressure pushing on the imperfections under the track Surface......................

I'm no engineer........But seams like a bad idea............................

We truck pull a lot during the summer and have been to a small town pull before we’re they put about 2 feet of dirt right on a street in the middle of town. If not deep enough or packed in good. Big profarm tractors and mods will dig clear down to the pavement

This makes me ill.
Monster Mopar Weekend won't be there this year.
Supposedly, the week before the pull is to set up and the week after to tear down.
Hope they make enough money to cover 3 weeks...

This is almost unbelievable. I haven’t even gone for three years and have words I’m holding back.
