Eh.. I don't care how tall it sits.. if there is a proven gain from one being taller or smaller I'll use it.. this is just the one that came with the supercharger.
There is a proven positive difference in fuel distribution using a taller hat in boosted applications, and it’s significant. If you have the space, the taller the better so the air has a straight shot into the carb. Some people just weld a 2-4” spacer to the hat bottom. It’s worth a quick email to your carb builder with a picture of your setup/hat. Maybe it’s fine, but maybe it will cause lean cylinders and melted pistons.
