old guy needs fun modern-ish driver

I paid $2800 for my 86 Convertible in 2010. I've had it over ten years did a little bit of this and that work wise I'm sure I'd still be able to make a buck if i sold it...thing is, I cant replace it for what I paid for it LOL! But when I'm in the mood and on the highway it'll cruise at 100MPH plus. it has the stock 273 rear and 5 speed stick. Ill admit the brakes on that year Fox body suck though too small LOL! Ive used the trans to reel that car in many times.
My last fox body was a 20th Anniversary convertible, absolutely mint body, originally a California car, paid $4500.00 USD, had a freshly rebuilt motor, new clutch, and new 17 inch Cobra rims with new rubber, plus a new top. I drove the wheels off of it for 3 years, and sold it for $7500.00, which was too cheap! Great car, tons of fun, but the cowl shake was pretty brutal.
