Another big "war" with Verizon

I've been getting nags they are going to abandon the 3G stuff entirely, and have been looking for another phone. But I don't WANT a smart phone, and the flip phones available are a VERY VERY poor selection. I really did not want to spend a huge amount, but I finally caved and bought a big GREAT big SOB called a Kyocera DuraXV Extreme

........And of course the web based site to activate did not work..........

........And I tried calling support and that did not work.........

.........And I went up to my friends at the plumbing warehouse, and used their phone and thought I punched all the right numbers but the damn thing GAVE ME A NEW NUMBER.......

..........And then I could not get ahold of a "real person.".......

I FINALLY GOT HOME AND GOT "chat" to work (it would not earlier) and finally got someone to correct the "new" number back to my "old number."

BUT NOW THERE does not seem to be any way of transferring the phone contact list as the "wizard" was interrupted right in the middle of all the almost automation

The good and bad: IT IS HUGE, GIGANTIC, MONSTEROUS, in fact it's quite large
The speaker phone seems to have ONE HELL of a lot of volume (You can see the speakers at the bottom of the phone below the keypad)
The display is larger so maybe I can read it

This is not a smart phone, nor did I want one. That's RIGHT!! The new one is LARGER

"We'll see"
