Two weeks ago I would have said no way but I called the manager of Keystone and said IF we get the predicted 48-52 degree weather and the sun comes out on Saturday are you going to open. After 3 weeks of rain and losing a big street meet, 4 days of private track rentals (286.00 limited cars) and two regular test n tunes he’s not ready to give up yet. So I jumped on my duster finishing up the rocker arm install, put the intake and carb on, set the valves but will go through them once more. Tommy I have a church meeting in the evening so limited hours tomorrow to finish the top. Then adaptor plates, headers, and exhaust and a new set of seat belts. If I’m not done and loaded on Friday I’m a lazy azz. Hopefully the streak continues.

Where did you get the throttle bracket??

Thanks guys. I’m not worried about my streak as much as I am my sanity. Even with everything going on I’m finally putting in more shop time. I would love to finish up some heads, I may sell my eagle assembly in my 422 if I can get a few things I’m looking at and update it some, and I would love to rewire my black duster, and finish up my heads up car for some early season test n tune.

Sounds like you're gettin after it, good luck I hope you make it to the finish line! 65'

Well PR that would be totally cool and a welcome bit of positive energy for ya. Get your junk squared away and fling it down the track! Hah! No leaks equals a win! April is a long way off but a couple of clean passes this late sets you up well for April. I already have mine on the rack and trying to sort out some floor pan flexing issues. So I am already behind!

Good Luck !!! after an unexpected engine combo change and a mad thrash to get it back together for the last few index races of the season I went thru the same thing. But its good to know that its somewhat ready for next season , lets hope in your case and mine that the weatherman is right for a change and its good racing weather! Myself I am heading 3 hours away to Cecil County in Md. for their final index race of the year this Saturday.

Green grass and high tides forever!!! ... great band I've seen them like 5 times , the first time some 35 years ago some of the original members have passed on but they still sound great! Enjoy!

the opener is all the original members of the Henry Paul Band. They did some great stuff
Gonna be a great show. They sound better these days than ever. Seen them a few times in recent years, and, back in the day

Kinda gettin off track here, but this is what the Outlaws sound like now…outstanding stuff..
Blond long haired guitar player on the right is guesting on this gig..Billy Crain. Original Henry Paul band lead guitarist, and former Outlaws guitarist. The singing has never been better. Guitar playing is always top notch

Well guys you aren’t going to believe this but last night while working on the duster I had to make several trips behind the shop to piss and something didn’t feel just right. I watched election returns till 12:30am and went to bed. Up at 6:30am and burning piss every 20 minutes. I called my specialist and it was to late to make the office 7 miles from my house but they could see me in Monroville a 75 mile round trip at 4pm. He looked at me and said your kidding. I said nope the infection is back. A urine test proved me right. Antibiotics for 7 days and see him next Friday. Knowing my day was screwed I ran down to the shop and checked my valves, finished the carb and radiator lines and installed the W2 header adapters. I got everything I wanted to do before seeing my doctor. Waiting at the pharmacy for my prescription now. If I would have waited till Friday my racing plans would have been screwed. If the infection isn’t gone next week a scope goes up you know what to see what is going on.

.
Just to make sure it's not constipation you could have him run the scope of the other side.
