SCORE on alternator !!

You might find that under idle with the fans kicking in it will draw quite a few amps . You are running relays with the fan& pumps ? and the msd will require full 12 V. I found with mine running a single fan electric pump 6AL with the Sniper setup with a 70amp setup would draw too much @ idle dropping voltage to 10.00-10.5 and I have no radio all my lights bar head lights are LEDs I ended up with a power master 95amp now under idle wth everything running 13.5 13.8v.
At 1300 shaft RPMs of a CS144 alternator (140A) its putting out 50A and at 2000, its putting out 95A and pulling away from there. Idle at 700 RPM at a 2:1 alterantor pulley is 50A at idle. A huge double truck fan @ 4600CFM pulls 28A at full tilt (way less at the controllers min) MSD pulls <2A at idle, Fuel pump pulls 4A MAX (Holley sniper) and the Sniper itself has a 15A fuse so what maybe 8A max? LEts say those LED headlights pulle 5A (huge for LED) Thats under 50A right there...I wonder where you were losing enough to sap 3V out of your battery? Even a squareback could handle that. Mystery......
