I've known mark for over 20 years and I spoke to him about the drama in his show after comments made in this form about 8 years ago or so when he first started. He told me if he had his way it would be much more straightforward and all about cars but that would make his viewing audience so small no network would support it or carry it. But by trying to add comedy and more body it brings in some wives and other people who push up viewership numbers. And it must work just by the longevity of the show which really no one ever expected. Keep on keeping on mark!
