E body Cuda’ Slaughter but still awesome

Guys I witness carnage and heaven a few months back at the same time and never got around to telling my story till now. As you know Georgia is the east coast hub for movie production. I recently met a guy who works for one of the production companies as a prop contractor. I went to the shop and what did I see? Eleven E body barracudas 70-74. All made to look like the same car. Some are for crashes, jumps, chases you get the idea. What is sad though they pulled a lot of the interior and drive train, added LS crate motors so the stunt drivers have them all made up and tuned the same. I really was some what star struct and disappointed by the way they take these cars apart. They paid 30-60k for each car these were not junk cars, that’s before they added their stuff. What is sad is they are never to be resold for liability purposes. I was not allowed to take photos. He would not tell me the name of the movie either only that it should be viewing next year and it’s a block buster film. So who knows was a really cool day. This dudes job is to travel around where ever a movie is being filmed, find a lease building, ship all his tools and equipment then builds cars for movie sets. Cool job but he travels way to much. When their done they break down the shop and move to the next location. Kind of crazy.
