How are these kids supposed to find these cars, let alone afford them. I was reduced to driving Novas and Mustangs for years due to not being able to swing a Mopar.
This has long been my stance and argument. 20-25 years ago, the old men of my group we’re ridiculing the youth in there Honda cars. I stood up for them while giving a light chastising for there words of displeasure.
The “Kids” of that day and today afford what they can do cop what we do. There no different than you (the older guys) in what there doing. It’s just what they can and can not afford. While your argument is “They should save there money for a real car” doesn’t really hold water since “a a k in the day when you were young….” You paid a week or two’s check for that bomb of a car and worked it up. Just like there doing now.
Now IF ONLY America made an”AFFORDABLE” V8 car…. And the aftermarket prices were not so stupidly steep, you would see more American kids driving and hot rodding American cars.
Today, what’s the best a kid can do?
Mustang? What else is CHEAP?
