I am selling a date code 2/9/72 Mopar 340 engine for sale. It has the original J heads. The block is standard bore. The cylinders have almost no ridge at all. It’s a good rebuild candidate. I had planned to build it for my 68 Dart but am not financially able to.I am asking $1000.

Looks like cast crank version. The harmonic balancer would tell the story if we can see the other side of it.

It is a cast crank. It has a narrow parting line. Still good for 500 HP properly prepared. Not a thing wrong with it. I wish I could buy it.
 
Just something to take into consideration when it comes to matching it with a flywheel or converter.
