classic car market

These old Mopars have always come and gone since mid 80's. I sold my last Duster about 3-4 year back, a 71 slant 3 on floor. PO had done the back seat to new. Bought it here in Tx complete for $1500 and got it running, did some brake work, replaced some floor and trunk floor, and fixed some dings and had it close to seal and topcoat. I enjoyed it for a year or so and sold it for $3500. TWO guys came to look and the one that bought it agreed it was the best Duster for the $ that was advertised anywhere. No one was beating my doors down to come look or buy. If I had it today I would not even offer it for sale,
A comparable Duster project for what I bought it for just is not out there. So you say, the market is up, and I agree, but the decent Duster projects must all be somewhere else!! Overpriced POS junk. And funny thng is I see alot of these overpriced wonders sell, for how many $$...... dunno!!!:realcrazy::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::welcome:
