Best stock oil pan for400 stroker to500 BB in a 70 Dart ??
I just did a 400 swap in a 1973 Swinger, and I had the best luck with the Milodon Low Profile Center pan. I still have a small issue with the drag link grazing the pan on the passenger side, but it isn't severe. It can be fixed by either lowering the drag link or readjusting the motor position. I also might be moving towards rack and pinion, which would completely eliminate that clearance issue. I went with the external pump pan, but both look to be identical in size.
