For the 1967-1968-1969 Barracudas, post information on vehicle features that you know were different for that year. Include items that you know were one year only options. For the year to year changes, if you think the change was made to achieve a cost savings or to fix a reliability issue, note that if you can.
Lets not talk about the things that are common knowledge like: Idler Arm, Side Marker Lights, Rear Tail Lights and Front Grill, as well as the special built '68 Hemi Barracudas.
But other features that you know to be year to year changes, post them here.
Thanks

The switch from Hurst to Inland and back to Hurst shifters (for us three pedal guys)- cost savings going to Inland, reliability and functionality going back to Hurst.

Way too many to list, and even things you don't think are different are.
67 hood vs 68 hood, different, yes.
68 has holes for the turn light on the hood weather you have them or not, 67 were on the fender so no holes in the hood.

67 vs 68/69 window trim
67 vs 68 header, same other than emblem holes
67 vs 68 grills, share outer frame and trim, some brackets.
67 vs 68 headlight bezels, 68 has an extra screw
...

Moved door locks forward on 69s
Interior bottom door vent gone in 69
different brackets for headlights on 69 fenders
Brown shifter knob for four speeds in 69
Two gas tank straps in 69, one for 67/68 (I believe)

That is a very deep subject!

Every Year was different! Some simple underlying parts were interchangeable.

Some will tell you they all were and could be made to work! They are correct but not Right! Three years of quick changes!

From Wiring to every inch almost!

And I have never owned a 67!

The single strap gas tank was 67 only.

A real puzzler: the trunk fold-down panel had either 1 latch or 2 latches, but this did NOT correlate to year. Bonus weirdness: the trunk lamp location was different depending on how many latches there were — this was a sheet metal change in the unibody, which seems crazy, but it's true.

I understand the latches! But have never noticed a correlation with the trunk lamp location! Is this Notch/Vert/Fastback thing? Obviously only the FB had the trunk fold down!

1969 Barracudas can use '73 - '76 Dodge Dart, Dart Sport and Dart Lite hoods if the later hinges are used because of location of hood side mounting holes. Dart Lite hoods would also need lighter hinge springs because the regular ones are too stiff. (aluminum underside bracing)

The '67 steering column is different down on the lower bearing area.
The ash tray is different on the '67's VS 68's. (hinge down on '67, slide out on '68)

With the center trunk latch, the lamp is off-center (it has to be). With the two latches, the lamp is on center. The sheet metal is different for each — it has to have a stamped-in catch point for each latch location, and it has a stamped well with cut-out for the lamp unit with screw holes in the appropriate places.

Will have to look closer, understand the well, mine is center latch and driver side lamp. Will look tomorrow to see if there is a well near center in the stamping!

Course likely only A01 optioned cars had these.

Did 67 & 68 Formula S Barracuda's come with frame torque boxes? Obviously the '69's did because my A56 has all 4.

Thanks

'68 had the dash that let you throw ketchup packets on when you are eating in the car. Can't do that in a '67 or '69.
Also the radio bezels changed year to year.
'67 no side markers
'68 round side marker lights
'69 rectumangular ones and the beak hood.

No, it won't have a well for the lamp on center, because that is exactly where the latch catch is. That's why the sheet metal panel is completely different for the two latch situations. Each version has well for the lamp, whether a lamp option was ordered or not. But they are in different places.

My 69 383-S had no torque boxes and a bench seat. I spoke with another 69 383-s owner that had a bench seat and his did not have torque boxes. The use of torque boxes is all over the map. Some had four, some two, and some none.

Speedometers were different all three years.
1967 - screw on cable connector.
1968 - clip on cable connector
1969 - clip on connector, but the numbers are oriented differently.

67 glove box was 1 year only, hinge bracket on each side versus piano hinge for 68/9.
67 dash harness also 1 year only. 69 door latch is one year only.
