PAW flashback

-
I bought alot of parts off them in the 80's

They went under more than a decade ago, this is just a remnant of an online catalog that someone put up, very incomplete....I was actually looking for an MSD-5 ad with its (or lack of) features. Loved that place, gave you a catalog with every order if it fit in the box.

I bought a set of rocker arms for a magnum from Hughes a few years ago, and they came packaged as PAW, I was like humm..........

Where di dthey get their start ? Seems like I remember visiting a PAW store in Minneapolis when I was young .

All I remember was seeing there ads in Mopar action & Mopar muscle.

When they went away, I just couldn't believe it. They were such a huge company. Loved their place on Nordhoff, out in the valley.

Went to their warehouse in Chatsworth in about y2k to get a rebuild kit for a 289 Ford. They shut down not too long after. Glad I got to tour the place... Eddie Hill's top fueler, a bunch of other prominent drag cars, tons of engine mock-ups... a car guy's dream.

That's right the dragster was hanging upside down on the ceiling? They had blown motors on stands, stuff hanging on walls. Like a big Super Shops minus the stench of stacked BFG's. Friend saw the owner in a convertible vette peeling out with a very young lady in it. Hope it was his daughter! They had a smaller outlet in North Hollywood.

Yep. The dragster was hanging from the ceiling. I went to the North Hollywood store once or twice also, but it wasn't nearly as cool.
