Increases in COVID-19 are unrelated to levels of vaccination across 68 countries & 2947 cnties in US

Sorry about your loss...... What ever causes a death is what your doctor/ medical examiner will list it on death certificate
If a person is suffering from a COVID infection and dies its listed as COVID
My wife was diagnosed Stage 4 over eleven years ago....Stage 4 is a rating that refers to how far a cancer has spread, its a number and does not mean a person is doomed, not a great thing but people survive
My wife health isn't great but she is no were near death, not even close ( by the grace of Jesus).
If my wife contracted Covid and died than she died of Covid not cancer and I expect a death certificate to reflect that
I have zero idea what your doctor told you and why....
If you have a Covid infection and get run over by a bus on the way to the doctors your death record should or would read accident
We will be at 800,000 dead soon....No doubt some listed wrongly it happens but as much as many would seek to dismiss that figure as a fraction of what it is,,,in fact its not.....
I dont know what it takes for some to get it through their skulls that this is not fabricated, not fake.
We wont even discuss people who suffer after affects from Covid

Here is an article:
How are COVID-19 deaths counted? It’s complicated

From the CDC:

Things to Know About Cause-of-Death Data Quality Getting high quality cause-of-death information can be challenging, especially during emergencies. Certifiers may be faced with heavy workloads, may not have access to complete information about the death, or may not be well trained in how to prepare good quality cause-of-death statements. The quality of cause-of-death data depends on death certificates being complete and accurate. • Complete means describing a clear chain of events from the immediate to the underlying cause of death, reporting any other conditions that contributed to death, and providing information that is specific. • Accurate means reporting the correct conditions as causes of death. Cause-of-death information is not perfect, but it is very useful. Current estimates are that about 20-30% of death certificates have issues with completeness
