I really like the O/D manual. And I have it in a 66 Barracuda with a non stock high performance 273. I run the standard small front bearing main housing and front bearing retainer so I can swap transmissions if I want. I even run an original 64-65 Hurst Competition Plus Shifter. I have no problem with the gear splits, the highway cruising and mpg is sweet.
