Dropped my dart off at the body shop about a month ago and have started to put together the list of things I need to order. Well the hood is missing the holes for the “DODGE” emblem. I didn’t take any good pictures of where the emblem should be since when I sent it off to him that there would be holes for emblem pins.

Can anyone give me some measurements for where their hood emblem is on their 71 Swinger?

Here's what they look like (if that helps?). Unfortunately I welded them up without taking any measurements.

So thats a 70 style logo. The 71 was a boxy looking font next to the driver side line on the hood.

Do you mean the Dodge emblem that goes at the drivers side front edge of the hood or the emblems that go on the scoops?

Not the best pictures but the measurements on this hood are 9 1/4" from the drivers side edge and 1 1/4" front edge to bottom of emblem

Pic in post #2 shows a 1970 style hood that has a scripted emblem bolted to the front center of it.
A 1971 has a block letter style Dodge emblem that is placed on the front driver's side of the hood.

There are no holes as the emblem goes on with double sided tape. I added mine after it was painted and just eye balled it off pictures on the web.

So if there are no holes where do I buy a new emblem? The ones on year one and classic industries have the 3 pin style emblem listed as trunk/hood.
