I ordered a match to my single TrickFlow head in October with a December shipping date. I received word today from Summit that it is on its way.

I'd figured it would be stuck on a cargo ship somewhere on the Ohio river.
I'm sorry that would be the Speedmaster products stuck somewhere on the Pacific during Black Friday.

I think with everything Speedmaster is offering now they must have their own ships and ports. The are ever offering a fabricated 9 inch rearend housing now and from what I’ve seen of it, it appears pretty nice.

That's great news! Let's hope it's a contagious trend!

I'm still waiting for my TF single plane intake. I canceled my Lunati Voodoo cam I ordered in May. Over the past two weeks, I've been working with Jim at Racer Brown Cams. He's also helping me with the TQ for my A727. He sounds positive about getting blanks. More to come. Paul.

I’ve never met Jim but that’s my fault. I’ve dealt with him enough that he treats me like a friend and honestly I should have at least made the trip to Carlyle to meet him. Another one of those coulda, shoulda, woulda type of deals. He was going to do up a hydraulic cam for my son in Colorado but my son is buying a house so the car is on the back burner right now so I didn’t contact Jim to make it.

Well my TrickFlow head showed up today. No plans on what I am going to use them on yet but I guess I will find something. I have plenty of blocks, some roller cams, a brand new set of Diamond flat top piston, but I’m out of stroker cranks and rods.

We got my brothers big block 240 heads a couple weeks ago and it was estimated for February. I called Trickflow a couple months ago and I was told they had some heads but the issue was they were waiting on the ferrea valves.

He said on the intakkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkit lo

I know I’ve told you guys this before but I’m pretty sure summit gives a distance delivery time so guys are pestering everyday and are happy when things get delivered ahead of schedule.

Yes that thought had came to me as well but I think there is a balance. You would want to give the estimate far enough out to not be pestered but not so far out that people decide not to order altogether. I think their estimates are based on some reality. I expect Trickflow got valves quicker then they expected.

I am waiting on a Super Victor I ordered on 10/19. It shows an estimated deliver of 11/12. I called yesterday to see how things looked and they said it looks like it will ship next week.

So I think they try to have.. some basis in reality.
