I’m currently building a 71 javelin at the moment with 232 inline, 3spd automatic but I’ve built several Amc javelins as well as a few early year ramblers. Parts wise for the javelins aftermarket parts are getting better IMO, but for early ramblers hell no. I like them because they are different and unique and you can still get them fairly cheap just gotta look around.
I agree with you I do like the early Ramblers because they are somewhat unique. I admit I am very conservative on buying any model of anything because I know what it takes to make a "car" out of any project!!
I am so old I have gotten over the extreme need for speed I just enjoy cruising!! Sixes are fine!!
Everytime I find a decent car at a decent price it is always 500-600 miles away in Ok Ar or Ms!!
