A body door interchange

no 74 dart sport will fit 70-76 duster or 71-72 demon and 73-76 dart sports

The door shells are the same for 73-6 and all you do is swap the glass if it's from an opposite body style.
 
Those side impact bars only add 14LB's a side, well worth it after you've seen a demon wrapped around a telephone pole. :\

I heard that! So which of the 73+ doors has that "unique" glass setup
 
Im new at all this but, i thought the body lines were different. I have a 67 Dart with 73 up Dart doors but not Dart sport ones i thought they were different
 
All the 67-76 Door will interchange to either add or delete the vent windows

To use 67-72 Dart Swinger/Valiant Doors on a 73-76 Dart Swinger/Valiant you will have to change the trim that goes in the window channel to have the door shut at all and vice versa for 73-76 doors on a 67-72

To change the doors from a Duster/Demon/Dart Sport onto a Dart Swinger or Valiant 2 door the glass will need to be changed to do so.

73-76 Duster/Dart Sport Doors will bolt up to any year Demon/Duster/Dart Sport

73 Doors are one year only because they have a different glass and mechanism for the windows than 74-76.

This is why only 73 glass fits in a 73 door because it is a one year only assembly

So glad I have a 74 parts car.
 
I have a 73 Swinger with good doors and a 73 Sport with iffy doors. I have been told to just swap the glass and everything is good. I'll find out soon..
 
You don't want to swap Dart doors onto a Duster/Dart Sport/Demon or vice versa.

The door skins are identical, 67-76. Same length, same body lines. The shells are almost identical. They started out the same, same stamped part. But they don't end up that way. The glass isn't the only part that's different, the regulators and all the hardware get mounted in a completely different way, and there are tabs and supports spot welded into the doors that would have to change to swap the regulators and hardware. All the info, pictures of the differences etc are here Demon door?? Which others fit?

It's possible, but you probably won't want to do it. That said, all my info was for the pre-73 doors. I know on the 74-76 doors a lot more interchanges, it's probably easier. '73 is one year only hardware, and it's totally different than 74, so that would still be work.

Just found that out when trying to swap the 73 glass into a 76 door
