I have been looking for some replacement washers for my Cragar SS wheels. The ones that are on them now are needing to be changed out due to wear and tear over the years. Have not had any luck in finding new washers so I am thinking about using Belleville washers. Wondering if anyone has used these on their wheels?

The problem wit Belleville washers is they spread when compressed and this might damage the finish on your wheels over time. Were the stock washers a conical or Belleville shape?

From what I have learned from reading articles about Bellevile washers, they are the same as conical washers. The stock washers, I presume, were the Belleville (conical) shape. My bolt pattern is 5 x 4 and I have not been able to locate a Cragar washer that will fit. Lug nut is 7/16 x 20. Have ordered washers from several sites but the center hole is way too big. Cragar says they are out of stock, so that is why I have turned to places like Classic Industries, Jegs, Year One, Rock Auto, Ebay, and local nut and bolt venders. Have been told that he washers that I need are Belleville type and place here in Houston has some in stainless steel.
Just thought I would check here to see what others thought.

You name it, I probably checked that site for washers for my Cragar SS wheels. Cragar part number is: 09005-4. This is a bag of 4 washers. Was unable to find these anywhere.
However, anyone who might need washers for Cragar SS Series 08/61 small bolt pattern 5 X 4 I finally found some at BrandSport. Washers are .98 OD and .60 ID.
